But at one point, the heart decided that it was time for a new chapter in life. After years and years of yoga practice, she completed numerous and multi-year educations in Croatia and around the world, and today she is a teacher of many styles of yoga and an international educator for future yoga teachers.

In addition, Viktorija is extremely interested in relaxation techniques and is a practitioner and educator in the field of meditation and healing techniques. Theta healing, BARS, regression are just some of the techniques that Victoria uses to introduce changes in the lives of the people she works with.

DID YOU KNOW?
Yoga has long been acknowledged as a highly beneficial practice. Yoga can help improve the fitness, flexibility, and the mental game of athletes, and this is noticeably true for tennis players. The game of tennis requires a lot of quick, explosive movements, rigorous use of the upper body, and constant adjustments of the wrist while gripping the tennis racquet. Performing specific yoga poses can help even professional tennis players focus on the main muscular areas utilized in this intense sport, and notably aid in optimizing aspects such as range of motion, release of tension throughout the torso, and the control of the breath.

One of the best yoga poses for tennis players is the cow face pose, as it helps alleviate tension often found in the shoulders and neck. A complementary yoga program, involving poses like cat and cow, can also effectively stretch the back muscles and hip flexors, which often become tight due to the demanding nature of tennis. A yoga session often ends with a breathing and mediation program, further fostering mental focus, integral for every tennis match.

Yoga also can help improve your balance over the ball, increase mobility in your joints, and maintain optimal functional movement - all are crucial for a successful tennis game. Over the last 5 years, many top players have turned to yoga as a way to improve their game and recover after a hard match or training session. Regular practice of yoga improves balance, increases flexibility and mobility, and reduces the risk of common tennis injuries such as tennis elbow. Allowing the left foot slightly to shift, bringing your right knee towards the floor, can provide a beneficial stretch for the outer hips.

The benefits of yoga for tennis players have now far surpassed the traditional outlook of yoga as just a method of improving fitness. Today, performing these exercises is a great way to use yoga as a workout or a recovery tool. It's surprising how incorporating specific tennis yoga poses in your routine can make a significant difference to your tennis game. So, if you are looking to significantly improve your tennis prowess, a tailored yoga session could be your secret weapon. Keep your legs, your body and your game, in prime shape, starting today. You'll be surprised at how you will increase, improve and you will feel more balanced, both physically and mentally.
