Great tennis coaching in beautiful setting
Have just returned from 1st visit to biograd croatia with this company and can honestly say it was brilliant. Coaching was fantastic bojan is a great coach and gets the best out of you. Whatever your level you can rest assured your game will improve bojan will happily fit schedule to suit you and is an excellent source for anything away from the tennis from trips to restaurants. Bus timetables to bars
Hotel llirija was ideally places for 5 min walk to courts and right on the marina with excellent sea views and has a wonderful indoor pool
Even during this pandemic can honestly say it was worth the trip and felt completely safe
Will definitely be back anyone who likes tennis from beginner to advanced should look at using this company cant recommend them enough

We flew out for a break with Croatia Tennis Holidays in May 2021, a little uncertain if we should be travelling at all given the C19 situation in Europe. My husband is a player with about 15 years of tennis under his belt, and I had about 1 weekend of experience and a broken ankle 9 months earlier, so very different levels. We had a fantastic time and would highlight the following for other prospective travelers:
* Good C19 measures: The hotel is well equipped with hand sanitizer and most of your time will be spent playing outside, so very low-risk. Most restaurants in town have outside terraces where you can sit and eat without having to worry. Bojan (who runs the company) helped organise PCR tests the day before departure home and personally drove us to the testing location.
* Help with unexpected changes: Our flights changed several times in the weeks before flying, presumably because of C19 stuff creating complications. Bojan was super flexible with changes and when our flight home got re-routed to depart from Zagreb, he set up a transfer and hotel for us in Zagreb near the airport. It was super easy thanks to his help! We were well taken care of.
* Great tennis: Bojan is a very patient coach, so even if you are a complete beginner, don't worry: you'll have a good time and leave the court having done a lot of running and hitting (and in my case laughing). He does a great job adjusting to a person's experience - e.g. focusing my husband on things like serve technique and pace, while I did a lot on my basic hitting form. The courts are beautiful, in great condition, and we had gorgeous sunny days all week.
* Non-tennis side-trips: We didn't have a lot of time for side-trips because we did the "full" tennis week (2 hrs morning, 2 hrs early evening), but Bojan clearly has a ton of non-tennis excursions he can set up for people who want less tennis and more Croatia. We visited the national park Krka, which has beautiful waterfalls, and a great boarded walkway that snakes up and around them, from which you can see the local flora and fauna.
* Nice hotel: The Ilirija is very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the nice new pool (good for soaking sore tennis bodies), the sweet staff and the better-than-expected hotel buffet food. Bike rental is easy for rides along the waterfront and into town. There is also a lovely stone beach around 100 meters from the hotel (en route to the courts) that would be great for swimming in mid-summer (the air / sea temperature ratio was still a little chilly for May).
Biograd: I hadn't heard of Biograd before organising this trip, but am very glad I visited. The waterfront is charming, and there is a good collection of tasty restaurants just steps away from the hotel. A lot of businesses were still closed when we visited - but also clearly gearing up for reopening, in the hopes that travel will be possible again this summer. The town definitely relies on tourism as a big part of the local economy, so they will appreciate you if decide to visit! Go for it!

Had a great week in Biograd. Clean, comfortable hotel and some friendly, professional and individual intense training, which I was hoping for, more than the resort style social play.
Nothing seems too much trouble for this company and if you are clear about what you are looking for in terms of location and program, they seem happy to respond in a timely manner … without any fuss. I hope to be back soon.

Biograd tennis holiday
Had a great week of tennis coaching by professional and dedicated coaches Tin and Bojan. Very flexible with schedules and always there to answer any questions. Hotel and facilities were perfect for an active holiday. If you are looking for an alternative to the large, self contained resorts as I was, Tennis Holidays Croatia is your answer. Highly Recommend.
