This is a trip that begins in a small place called Jakiruša – Brela. The spectacular mountain of Biokovo surrounds the amazing Jakiruša bay. The bay has a popular sandy beach which is favourite among the locals and tourists and there is a rocky coast on the west side with one of the last untouched bays in this part of the Riviera – bay Vrulja.
After launching our sea kayaks on the beach we lightly paddle to the deserted sandy beaches of the Vrulja bay. During the paddling we stop to observe the submarine groundwater source which brings 50 m3 of drinking water per second to this place even in the summertime. We pause for swimming and snorkeling in the beautiful clear water once our paddle takes us to the Vrulja beach. We can also arrange a delicious meal in a local restaurant right after the kayaking adventure (additional payment).
